Payment Methods

PAYPAL

Faster, safer, and easier, paying with PayPal means you don’t need to enter your card details and address every time you pay.

Eligibility

PayPal is available in 200 eligible countries.

How to pay

At the checkout, select the ‘PayPal’ option. You will then be taken to a page to enter your details and complete your purchase.

Just enter your email address and password to log into your PayPal account, and PayPal will automatically fill out your details for you. All you need to do is confirm the purchase.

If you don’t have a PayPal account, you will need to create one. To do this, enter your debit or credit card details, as well as your name, address, mobile number and email address and follow PayPal’s instructions.

Cancellations

You have a legal right to cancel your order for a full refund within 14 days. In this event, you will need to notify French Connection in writing, details on this can be found in the model cancellation form below. Should you cancel your order, you will get an email of acknowledgement from French Connection, and a receipt of refund email from PayPal.

Returns

Your right to return is not affected by your payment method. At French Connection, you will only ever pay for the items you keep.

When your return has been processed, you will get a confirmation email from French Connection, and a receipt of refund email from PayPal.

In Store

You can return your items in store. However, we cannot refund PayPal payments in store instantly. The returned item will be sent back to the warehouse where it will be processed. PayPal will then refund the amount paid. This will go into your PayPal account.

By Post

When you return your item by post, it will be processed by our team in the warehouse. PayPal will then refund the amount paid. This will go into your PayPal account.

APPLE PAY

Avoid filling out forms and details, and choose Apple Pay at the checkout to let your Apple device do the hard work.

Eligibility

Apple pay is only available in eligible countries.

You must have a debit/credit card attached to your 'Wallet', be using an apple device with IOS 12 or higher installed, and have payments activated’.

How to pay

On your Apple device, select the ‘Apple Pay’ option at the checkout.

If the device is connected to your account, you will be offered the option to autofill your details, saving you time and effort. Simply enter your password, use touch ID or facial recognition to complete your purchase in an instant.

If this option does not pop up, you will need to create an Apple Pay account, and link it to your device

In Store

If you paid for your items via Apple Pay in store, you may return your item to store and get an instant refund, through the same payment method.

If you paid for your items via Apple Pay online, you can return your items in store. However, we cannot refund payments that have been made online with Apple Pay in store instantly.

The returned item will be sent back to the warehouse where it will be processed. Once the item has been checked, the refunded amount will come to you via Apple Pay.

By Post

When you return your item by post, it will be processed by our team in the warehouse. Your refund, if requested, will then come through Apple Pay.

GOOGLE PAY

Android users and those on Google Chrome in eligible countries can now pay in an instant with Google Pay.

Eligibility

Google pay is only available in eligible countries.

You must have a debit/credit card attached to your Google account.

How to pay

Select the ‘Google Pay’ option at the checkout.

If the device is connected to your account, you will be offered the option to autofill your details, saving you time and effort. Simply enter your password, use touch ID or facial recognition to complete your purchase in an instant.

GIFT CARDS 

You can now pay for your French Connection purchase with one of our electronic gift cards. 

How to pay 

You can add your gift card number to your checkout process at any point when shopping on our website. You can use multiple gift cards in one order. 

Simply type the unique code to the discount window before checkout and select apply.  

The total value of the gift card will be deducted from your order. If your order is less than the value of your gift card, the remaining balance will stay on your account for you to spend at a later date.  

If your order is more than the value of your gift card, you’ll need to pay for the remaining balance in the usual way, by adding a credit or debit card number or selecting one of the alternative payment methods.  

Please note: Our electronic gift cards can only be used for purchases made online. We currently don’t allow our e-cards to be used in store.  

French Connection gift cards are valid for 24 months from the day of purchase. 

Cancellations

CREDIT NOTES/GIFT RECEIPTS

How to use

Upon being issued, a gift receipt enables you to store money and pay for goods to the value stored on the receipt. Your gift receipt can be used by you or given as a gift. You can use this gift receipt as full or part payment of any goods at French Connection owned stores in the UK including Outlets. A gift receipt is not able to be used on online payments. The amount of the purchase will be deducted from the balance on the gift receipt.

Gift Receipt Terms and Conditions

1. Gift receipts can be redeemed at French Connection stores in the UK including Outlets. They cannot be redeemed at French Connection Concessions, Franchises or online.

2. Gift receipts can be activated with a minimum value of £10 and cards can be topped up in stores, as long as the balance of the card will be greater than £10 after top up.

3. Gift receipts may be exchanged for goods of a higher price than the value stored on the card on payment of the difference. 

4. If any product purchased with a gift receipt is subsequently exchanged for a product of a lower price or a refund, any money owing will be added to the remaining balance on the gift receipt if the resulting balance of the gift receipt will be greater than £10, otherwise a credit note will be issued. cash will not be given in lieu of any resulting balance. 

5. If you do not spend the entire balance on the gift receipt the remaining balance will be updated after each transaction and shown on your printed till receipt You will not earn interest on the balance.

6. This gift receipt cannot be exchanged for cash. 

7. Gift receipts are valid for 12 months from the last transaction. Any remaining balance will be cancelled on expiry of the validity period. Please check in store for balance enquiries or contact us by phoning French Connection head office on 020 7036 7300.

8. Please treat gift receipts as you would treat cash in a wallet; if you lose the card, you will lose the remaining balance you had on the gift receipt. French Connection will not accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged gift receipts or any balance you had on such gift receipts. 

9. French Connection Retail LTD reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of the gift receipt at any time and to take the appropriate action, including the cancellation of the gift receipt if, at its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights. 

 

REVOLUT PAY

Revolut Pay is a fast, frictionless, and flexible way to pay for Revolut users and card (Visa and Mastercard) users.

Eligibility

Revolut Pay checkout is available to anyone who’s 18 years or older and meets its eligibility requirements. 

How to pay

At the checkout, select the ‘Revolut Pay’ option. 

If you’re a Revolut user shopping on your mobile device, you’ll be redirected to the Revolut app to confirm the payment. You’ll be redirected back to French Connection once the payment has been confirmed in the Revolut app. If you’re a Revolut user using Revolut Pay on an external device, you’ll be prompted to sync your external device to your mobile device. You can then tap to confirm the payment from the Revolut app.

If you’re new to Revolut, the first time you use Revolut Pay, you’ll need to input your card payment details. Revolut will try to provide you with the ability to save all the details you need to make the payment. You may also be required to validate any payment you make with your card issuer.

Fast, flexible, one-tap checkout method.

Shoppers can use the following cards:

At the checkout, select the ‘Shop Pay’ option. You will then be taken to a page to enter your details and complete your purchase. 

Just enter your email address and password to log into your Shop Pay account, and Shop Pay will automatically fill out your details for you. All you need to do is confirm the purchase. 

If you don’t have a Shop Pay account, you will need to create one. To do this, enter your debit or credit card details, as well as your name, address, mobile number and email address and follow Shop Pay’s instructions. 

Shop Pay will send an SMS with a verification code. In the Confirm it's you section, enter your six-digit code. If you previously verified your Shop email address when you set up Shop Pay, then click send me a code by email instead option.

Who Can Use ClearPay?

ONLINE: Clearpay is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+ (excluding Channel Islands) with a UK billing address.

Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to use Clearpay or create a Clearpay account.

How does the ClearPay payment schedule work?

Clearpay will split the total value of your order into 4 instalments payable every fortnight. When transacting online the exact amounts and dates will be displayed for you to agree to before you confirm your purchase. For instore purchases, you will receive your payment summary once you have successfully transacted.

If you would like to make additional unscheduled payments before they are due, you may log into your Clearpay account to make your payments early. Clearpay will then adjust the amount owed accordingly.

You can log in to your Clearpay account anytime to view your payment schedule or make a payment before the next due date.

ONLINE: Clearpay will split the total value of your order into 4 instalments payable every fortnight. The exact amounts and dates will be displayed for you to agree to before you confirm your purchase.

If you would like to make additional unscheduled payments before they are due, you may log into your Clearpay account to make your payments early. Clearpay will then adjust the amount owed accordingly.

What if I can’t pay a ClearPay instalment?

If you cannot make a payment, please contact Clearpay here.

As soon as you miss a payment, Clearpay will immediately stop you from making any further purchases with Clearpay.

Clearpay will give you until 11pm on the following day to make your repayment and then you will incur a late fee if you are still not able to make the payment by then. This will be an initial £6 and a further fee of £6 if the missed payment is not made within 7 days. If your order is less than £24, the total late fee will be £6. If your order is £24 or over, total late fees will not exceed 25% of the total order or £24, whichever is less.

Clearpay debt may be passed to a debt collection agency and this may affect your ability to use Clearpay in future. We encourage you to use Clearpay responsibly. Please see Clearpay Terms of Service for further details.

Clearpay transaction limit

Yes, your order value including shipping must be between Merchant Minimum Order and £1000 to use Clearpay. Your maximum order value may be lower depending on factors such as being a new customer or your payment history.

 

Can I use another form of payment with Clearpay?

Yes, you may also use a gift card, cash, or a promotional code with Clearpay to pay for your purchase.

 

Returns

INSTORE: Please note, refunds for Clearpay purchases will be refunded from French Connection ​to Clearpay. Clearpay cannot provide an exchange or cash refund.

ONLINE: Items purchased with Clearpay follow our standard return process.

When the refund is processed, any upcoming payments you have to Clearpay will be cancelled and any payments you have already made will be refunded back to the card you paid with.
