How To Wear: Office To Bar Separates

Author Editor - 1 minute read

During these warmer summer days, it’s easy to get swept up in the mind-set of heading straight out for post work drinks. Not that this doesn’t happen in the cooler months, but figuring out what to wear which is work appropriate yet bar-friendly is ten-fold harder during the lighter months.

Fear not, we’ve got you covered.

Separates are our forever wardrobe hero – their ability to be paired with your existing favourite pieces is unlike any other and the fact that you can incorporate them into existing outfits is the dream.

Regardless of whether bold florals are your typical style, these trousers are the ultimate work-meets-play partner in crime.
Opt for black t-shirt to tone down the colour palette and pair with a pair of loafers. Come 5pm, switch out the flats for heels and a clutch and you’re good to go.

Let the sleeves do all the talking with this lace-y number. We’re enjoying wearing it with a pair of jeans and a blazer for a casual day in the office and swapping out for a leather jacket come the evening.

The Shirt

Let the sleeves do all the talking with this lace-y number. We’re enjoying wearing it with a pair of jeans and a blazer for a casual day in the office and swapping out for a leather jacket come the evening.

The Skirt

This skirt is the ideal piece to transition you not only from office to bar, but from summer to autumn. For 25 degree plus days, pair with a unfussy cami top and for the cooler months, opt for a chunky knit. Have a play around with your colour palettes and really draw upon the different shades in the skirt.

 The Blouse

We love to style this blouse with tonal shades – camel, creams, nudes and dusty pinks. A real summers day look, yes, but easily made more Autumn friendly with a high waisted jeans and trainers.

A workwear classic and a wardrobe hero that never goes out of style, this season your trusty blazer has been given a cool update. Forget the stuffy, boring and traditional workwear look and opt for something with more to it – grey on the front and black on the back, this piece looks great from all angles.

Continue the black colourway into your trousers and pair with smart black jeans for a stylish on and off duty look.
