The Influencer Edit: Bold brights with @oliviaandalice

Author Editor - 2 minute read
Now that plans have returned and we can finally fill the blank pages in our diaries, it’s time to breathe the optimistic attitude fuelled by spring and lockdown coming to an end into our wardrobes too. Whether you can’t wait to reunite with friends in your favourite beer garden, grab cocktails with the girls or you’re already planning a seaside getaway, you’ll need an ace outfit (and not just one) that will do your quarantine glow-up justice. From soft pastels and bright hues to mysterious deep tones, this season we’re reaching for a kaleidoscope of colours to catch up on all the fun we missed out on.

Known for their vibrant and eye-catching outfit combinations always bursting with colour, London-based sisters and influencers, Olivia and Alice of @oliviaandalice show us how to best combine pieces from our spring summer collection to bring an instant mood boost to our wardrobes (and lives too).

Yellow and Pink

Pink and yellow are the ultimate feel-good colour combination, especially for spring when everything is in full bloom – think bushes of wild roses and fluffy daffodils popping up from tall grass in parks and fields. Luckily, our Bonita Drape V Neck Maxi Dress comes in a pretty fuchsia shade with ditsy florals and our Aiden Drape Contrast Shirt Dress in bright sunshine hues. Both dresses are cut in a midi length and have a relaxed silhouette, ideal for transitioning from spring to summer. Take style cues from Olivia and Alice and bring a contrasting Lilly Mozart Jumper with you to the park picnic to stay warm on balmy afternoons.

Green and Pink

One of our colours of the season, emerald green brings calmness and tranquillity to our wardrobes – particularly useful if you’re trying to navigate your social calendar – read: secure a table at a pub or restaurant – during this chaotic season. Our Dola Drape Slip Dress looks equally chic when worn alone for a night out as it does layered atop a sporty top on lunch break walks, while the Adula Trench Coat can also be styled in a multitude of ways, making it the perfect transeasonal staple. Take inspiration from the chic sisters and offset the hue with white jeans, shoes and pops of pink.

Orange and Pink

If you're already daydreaming about hot summer days, try enlivening your edit with a bright combination of two popsicle hues – orange and pink. Perfect for the sunnier times ahead, these two shades can be highlighted with the addition of multicoloured accessories or softened with white accents. Alice and Olivia chose a simple look by grounding the Almedina Drape Fill Neck Dress with white platform brogues – perfect for romantic dinner dates and day trips to the seaside. We're ready to step into this season drenched in colour, are you?
