Monikh Dale is a firm
fashion favourite for myriad reasons, not least because she knows how
to style knitwear to absolute perfection. Her mantra is 'underdressed
without being overdressed' and we totally agree. Though she coyly admits
that she's had a love-hate relationship with knitwear, her new
wear-everywhere approach to soft and cosy fabrics will make you rethink your winter wardrobe.
The fashion blogger and stylist told us to avoid scratchy fabrics that will you have you tearing at the seams (no matter how much you love it) and instead to carefully select premium knits that will allow you to lounge at home with a hot tea. She didn't leave it there though. In the spirit of turning traditional knitwear on its head, she showed us how a knitted dress can totally change your evening wardrobe. They can be alluring, stylish, well-fitted and the perfect replacement to your usual party dress. If these photos don't convince you then we don't know what will...
Take it from the expert.
According to Monikh:
'Winter is officially here, so it’s about time to get cosy. Londoners know it too well, the mornings of drawing back the curtains to see another grey day, but maybe we should be using this scenery to our advantage?
Here are the knits that will be the warm insulation for our bodies for the next 5 months.'
