Since the launch of Coachella, scenes of LA cityscapes and palm tree backdrops have taken over our newsfeeds. But while fringing and festivals might not be your activity of choice, this cool hot spot has plenty to offer. Get a little inspiration for your summer in the city, wherever you are, in both the wardrobe and lifestyle department.
It may not come as a surprise that we make it our business to scroll through swathes of online posts to curate the creme de la creme of the World Wide Web. So, when contemplating where to go and what to wear this summer, we enlisted the help of our most recent Instagram obsession.

What do you love most about living in your city?
There's always something to do. I love exploring restaurants, grabbing drinks with friends and just adventuring.
What’s your favourite spot?
Silver Lake, a central neighbourhood, is a really cool area. It has everything you need. Thrift stores, great restaurants like Cafe Stella or Intelligentsia for coffee and plenty of boutiques.
Do you have a favourite exhibition past or present?
Anything at the Getty Museum! It's my favourite weekend go-to.
Who’s your favourite artist?
Christiane Spangsberg, a minimalist Danish artist who sketches beautiful drawings of faces, and Fong Min Liao are my new favourites. Three of my favourite male artists are on the walls of my apartment; Matisse, Picasso and Miró along with a great piece of Spangsberg to finish it off.
If we were spending 24 hours in LA what should we do?
Eat at Cecconi's for breakfast, go shopping in Silver Lake and then head to the Getty Museum. Have dinner at Jon & Vinny's and then stop off at Sawyer for drinks.
