Jackets let you off with many, many sins. Really, a good jacket is like a smart shirt that you don’t have to wash that much. You can even put a dirty t-shirt underneath it, if that’s all you can find, and if you leave the jacket on (it is getting colder these days after all), no one will be any the wiser. So a good jacket is worth investing in and spending some time over.
For a start we would recommend the Sackish Jacket – not too tight, plenty of room underneath for a nice bit of knitwear – simple, straight cut, with ribbed neckline and cuff detail, understated, generally the perfect autumn jacket.

But maybe you are a bit more flash? Want a bit of leather to rub up to of an evening? Soft and supple is the Washed Leather jacket, with a snug fit to keep out those cold drafts. Keeping it zipped up adds that necessary bit of mystery – what is he wearing under there? Nothing? Is that bulk his, or is it a jumper? Who says that you have to reveal anything either? Wear with loose chinos or old worn jeans, anything too tight and the questions might not always be in your favour?

Personally I reckon that no-one ever goes wrong with a navy jacket. The Vigilant jacket is the perfect shade of blue, it can be worn with any colour, over casual t-shirts and jeans or formal workwear, for a quick pint after hours. Plus it is lined in a subtle floral print, allowing you to show off your sensitive side – and there is always a time and place for that.
