Please read carefully the following terms of use ("Terms") for the www.frenchconnection.com website ("Site").

1. About Us

The Site is provided by French Connection (London) Limited ("we/us"), whose registered address is 20-22 Bedford Row, London WC1R 4JS. French Connection (London) Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 996609; its VAT number is 245721074.

Any personal data which you may provide us through the Site is subject to our Privacy Policy

3. Use of the Site

You may access the Site solely for your own personal use. You must not use any content of the Site for any commercial or illegal purpose.

By submitting any material to us ('Material') you acknowledge that we may copy, modify, distribute or create a derivative work from the Material in any manner that we shall determine. You will indemnify us if any third party takes action against us in relation to the Material.

We reserve the right to charge you to access certain information on the Site. We will inform you where a charge will be incurred by you for accessing certain services or information.

You must not cause any nuisance, annoyance or inconvenience to us, our customers or our users of the Site.

You must not submit any Material which is defamatory, offensive, menacing or obscene to the Site or which in our Judgment may cause nuisance, annoyance, damage or offence, inconvenience to us or any other person or which is illegal. We may remove such material from the site at any time without notice to, or consent by, you.

We reserve the right to suspend the Site at any time for operational, regulatory, legal or other reasons. We may terminate your use of the Site with immediate effect if you breach any of these Terms.

The Site may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other web sites or resources, and promotions of advertisers and merchants. As we have no control over such sites and third party resources, you acknowledge that we are not responsible for the availability of such external sites or third party resources, do not endorse and are not liable for any content, advertising, products, services or other materials on or available from such sites or third party resources. Any dealings by you with any third party on or through the Site shall be solely between you and that third party and we shall not be responsible for any loss or damage that may arise from any such dealings, nor shall we be deemed to be acting as an agent for you in any such dealings.

The Site and its content are protected by intellectual property rights, including copyright and trade marks, as detailed in our Copyright and Trade Mark Notice. Your use of the Site is at your sole risk. The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and we do not guarantee that the Site will be suitable for your purposes or requirements. The Site is accessed via the World Wide Web which is independent of us. Your use of the World Wide Web is solely at your own risk and subject to all applicable national and international laws and regulations. The content of the Site has been compiled from a variety of sources and is subject to change without notice. We use reasonable care in compiling and presenting the content of the Site, but we give no guarantee that the content is complete, accurate, error or virus free or up to date. We will have no responsibility for any variations in colour or appearance caused by your browser software or computer system. Product specifications and descriptions are not intended to be binding and are intended to only give a general description of the products.

So far as permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, conditions and other terms of any kind, whether express or implied, whether in contract, tort (including liability for negligence) or otherwise, including, but not limited to any implied term of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, and any standard of reasonable care and skill.

8. General Information

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Any failure by us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. These Terms and the relationship between you and us shall be governed by the laws of England and the English courts shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. We reserve the right to vary these Terms from time to time, such variations becoming effective immediately upon posting to the Site and by continuing to use it, you will be deemed to accept any such variations.

All content on this Site is protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 and is Copyright © by French Connection (London) Limited 2002 - 2011 or, where applicable, independent content providers and third parties. All rights are reserved. Reproduction and/or transmission of any content, by any means, without the express permission of the owner is prohibited by law.

French Connection, fcuk and any other French Connection name and/or mark on the Site are trademarks of French Connection Limited.

10. Price and Payment

The price of the Products and our delivery charges will be as quoted on our site from time to time. Product prices include VAT.

Our site contains a large number of Products and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

When you make a purchase from French Connection please make sure you do this in the currency of your bank or credit card. Please note that it is common practice for banks and credit card providers to have different selling and buying exchange rates for currency. French Connection does not accept responsibility for charges or differing rates of currency exchange levied by a customer's bank or credit card provider.

Items purchased at a price at the point of ordering are binding. Any items purchase previous to any markdowns will not be refunded the difference. There is an option of returning the higher priced item in its original condition, to us for either a refund or an exchange. However, if returned for an exchange, this is subject to availability.

Outlet/Sale section – All ‘was’ pricing is the original RRP. ‘Now’ pricing reflects the latest markdown price.

11. Cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations

If you are a UK/EU consumer, you have the legal right, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 to cancel your order within seven working days following your receipt of the goods from us. For further information about your statutory rights, contact your local authority Trading Standards department or consumer advice centre (for example the Citizen's Advice Bureau if you are in the UK).

If you wish to cancel an order then you must inform us by emailing orders@frenchconnection.com within seven working days following the date of receipt in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. You must take reasonable care of the products. You must return the products to us promptly. If you cancel your order, in addition to providing the free return, we will also refund your original post and packaging costs.

12. Returns

We do not offer free returns or refund the postage costs of returns for all products during sale

Please send all returns (excluding HOMEWARE) to the following address:

Items must be returned in a fully resalable condition, which means being unused with swing tags attached and, if possible, in the original packaging. French Connection reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange on items deemed not to be resalable. This does not affect your statutory rights in connection with faulty items.

You may return your purchase (or part of it) for an exchange or refund, within 14 days of receiving it, by posting the item(s) back to us at the address listed above.

Because of increased volume during sale please allow 7-10 days for your return to be processed once it is received into our warehouse.

Customers residing outside of the UK will be responsible for all costs associated with returning their order.

Please note: We can't be held responsible for overseas items that fail to reach their destination; therefore overseas customers may wish to send their parcel via a registered trackable service.

International Orders cannot be returned to a store for a refund or exchange.

We do not offer free web returns, returns to store or refund the postage costs of returns for HOMEWARE items UNLESS you are exercising your right to cancel your order under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 within seven working days following your receipt of the goods from us (see section above on how to proceed).

You cannot exchange or return French Connection HOMEWARE products in store for purchases ordered through the website.

Large items can be picked up by French Connection. Please call customer services to check if your purchase qualifies for a return pick up. You will be charged for this service

When returning an item you should retain proof of posting from your shipper as we will not be responsible for any items that fail to reach us.

Alternatively purchases made via our website (excluding HOMEWARE) can now be returned to store for an exchange or refund.

Returns will only be accepted providing items are returned in a fully resalable condition. You must take reasonable care of the products and return them unused with swing tags attached and, if possible, in the original packaging. Please ensure that you produce the associated dispatch note when returning the goods

We do not accept returns through the website for purchases made in store. Purchases made in store must be returned in store.

We do not offer free returns or refund the postage costs of returns for HOMEWARE items.

Returns/exchanges for clothing and accessories (WOMAN, MAN, CHILD only) can be returned to UK street stores only. This excludes Airports, Outlets and Ireland stores.

HOMEWARE items cannot be returned or exchanged in any retail stores (even those currently selling HOMEWARE).

Items cannot be returned to store if they were purchased from other web sites selling French Connection product such as Selfridges, ASOS, House of Fraser etc.

For your web return / exchange to be processed in store, you must bring the following:

• E-Commerce Dispatch Note (enclosed in your delivery). Photocopies are not a valid proof of purchase.
• Item for refund with swing tags attached and in a resalable condition (as above, this does not affect your statutory rights in connection with faulty items.)
• The card number you used to pay for the items.

The store manager's descision is final.

14. Student Discounts

Student Discount Online
All students with a valid NUS/NUS Extra or Irish Student Travelcard are entitled to a 15% discount on all full price* French Connection products purchased online at www.frenchconnection.com. *(Excluding giftcards and products from the Home category).

Student Discount In-store
All students with a valid Student Card are entitled to a 15% discount on all full price* French Connection products purchased in French Connection stores in the UK. *(Excluding giftcards and products from the Home category).

To redeem the Discount online, enter your NUS student card number at the online checkout. To redeem the Discount in-store, show your valid student card at the checkout in-store.

The Discount may not be exchanged for cash and is non-transferable. Returned items will be refunded at the discounted price paid. This does not affect your statutory rights. The Discount may not be used to purchase giftcards or to settle store card accounts. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.

French Connection reserves the right to refuse any student ID that it deems to be invalid or fraudulent.

French Connection reserves the right to (i) cancel this offer at any time; (ii) refuse to allow any individual to participate in this offer; and (iii) amend these terms and conditions.

15. Click and Collect

Customers who order by Click and Collect are entitled to receive 10% off full priced and sale merchandise if making an additional purchase in store on the day of collection. All other promotions are valid on full price merchandise only. Please click here for further information on Click on Collect.
